洛杉磯僑教中心為行銷臺灣美食品牌形象，由經國管理暨健康學院助理教授李家成及至善高級中學老師黃柏璋辦理示範講座，並邀請洛杉磯地區英文媒體編輯、記者及美食部落客出席採訪。活動在李安導演電影「少年Pi奇幻漂流記」美食總監林慧懿以英文講解臺灣美食文化下，不僅成功推廣臺灣美食文化，也積極宣揚僑營臺灣美食標章餐廳，更獲在場僑領及臺美菁英協會（TAP)等臺美人第二代年輕人好評!!
