而過了1月20日的「大寒」和2月4日的「立春」後，就準備過年了，附圖是清代畫院所繪的十二月月令圖，主要描繪的是北方的冬景：大雪封山，冰河結凍，人們有的站著閒聊，有的向火取暖，有的正在滑冰。小孩們玩得更是熱烈，蹴菊，踢毽子，堆雪獅。一年辛勞結束，各取所樂，顯得無比閒暇。
Occupations of the Twelve Months (The Twelfth Month) Painters of the Ch’ing Court Ch’ing Dynasty (1644-1911) A thick blanket of snow covers the mountains and ice chokes the rivers. People stand idly, gather around a stove, watch the crowds of deer, or go sledding on the ice. Children play football and shuttlecock and build snow lions. This scene completes the pageant of the seasons.
