Trans-Pac carriers begin levying low-sulfur surcharges

Container lines are beginning to give US importers from Asia a sense of just how much extra they’ll have to pay for fuel tied to the new low-sulfur mandate, with initial ranges of $164-$375 per FEU for West Coast routings and $276-625 for East Coast sailings.
