【中國目標於2019年底推出低硫船用燃料油期貨】
根據上海期貨交易所指出，中國將推出一項保稅低硫船用燃油合約，允許外國投資者在2019年底前參與交易。
上海期貨交易所表示：「該合約將有助於擴大中國在全球燃料油市場的定價影響力，並幫助中國提高其海運能力，燃料市場將在2020年面臨更大的挑戰。中國可能會扭轉目前完全依賴高硫船用燃料油進口的局面，成為世界上最大的低硫燃油供應中心」。
