孫遜虛擬的「鯨邦實習共和國」是一個新興的獨立精神之共和國家，與所有最初宣佈共和及民主的國家有共同理想，像一面世界的鏡子，模擬現實、又對現實提出疑問。它有自己的國旗、護照、幣制等，卻如一個建立在鯨魚背脊上的國家，在鯨魚躍出水面的瞬間建立，又在鯨魚潛入水中的瞬間消亡，僅存世六周，便成為歷史的一個傳奇、人類歷史的一個部分。這是一個濃縮的歷史，古往今來任何國家莫不如此，任何政治理想莫不如此。 Sun Xun created “Republic of Jing Bang” endowed with a new and independent spirit, and shares a common vision with countries that started off advocating republicanism and democracy, like a mirror of the world simulates reality but questions it. It has flag, passport and currency, but is like a country built upon the back of a whale that starts to exist as soon as the whale leaps out of the water and disappears the moment it dives back under.
