國立台灣美術館新增了 1 張相片。2015年8月3日下午6:51 · 【夢我所夢：草間彌生亞洲巡迴展台灣站6/6-8/30】 藉由不停重複恐懼來表達逃脫的「自我消融」，是草間彌生作品中不斷出現的概念。童年時期父母不合造成的夢魘，跟成名後在男權社會中必須付出更多努力才能得到認同的辛苦，都讓草間彌生對男性的性徵-陽具感到恐懼。「重複視覺，陽具之舟」便是她透過自我消融個過程逃離恐懼的作品，同時也強烈展現女性主體意識。 Through repeating her convulsion-like… 更多 horrific illusion and express her self-obliteration to escape from paranoia is the concept that cannot be separated from Kusama’s works.
