乾隆皇帝用金甌永固杯喝下新春的第一杯屠蘇酒，在御製新春詩中則看到「屠蘇延壽玉為觴」、「玉爵屠蘇百禮洽」等句，可見除了金歐永固杯外，玉製酒杯或玉爵都是清宮在年節宴慶時，飲用屠蘇之酒杯，象徵長壽之意。
