此畫在木板上，採高遠式的構圖，畫面形成「之」字形的景深，有著山光水色、拱橋遊船的幽閑情調，明顯受到中國水墨畫構圖的影響。（蕭瓊瑞／國立成功大學歷史系所教授）
Painted on a wooden board, this picture takes on a view from above and afar. It has a Z-shaped depth-of-field and exudes a leisurely and carefree mood hinted by a picturesque landscape of mountains, waters, arch bridges and pleasure boats. It is evidently influenced by the concepts of Chinese ink-wash painting composition. (Hsiao Chong-ray, Professor of History, National Cheng Kung University)
