【2014台灣美術雙年展】核心面向: 藝術拓域
2014 Taiwan Biennial subcategories- Art Expandings 在藝術形式實驗多元爆炸的現時期，關於「藝術自身」（art itself）的探求，辯證性的獲得了更具意識、富省思的拓展，並逐漸凝聚新視野。其中的美學關切，包含了純粹繪畫語言如何拓深、不同的感官形態如何成為真正意義上的藝術媒介，以及創作與個人/私密經驗等元命題更深入的呈現、述說，或創作如何得以精確地捕捉生命體驗等。藝術語言與藝術發生場域的拓展，及藝術自身何為的思辨，在過去二年的台灣視覺藝術社群中仍保有強健活力，乃至成為締造下階段新美學論辯的關鍵因素。 At the current state of the booming of diverse… 更多 and experimental artistic forms, the exploration of “art itself” has dialectically gained more conscious and reflective expansion, and shaping new perspectives gradually. The aesthetical focus from which includes the direction of further extension on pure painting expressions, the transforming of various sense into significant media, the deeper expression of subjects on personal/private experiences, and how art could more precisely capture living experiences. The expansion of artistic lexicon and the domain where art occurs, the speculations of the definition of art remained active in the community of visual art in Taiwan for past two years, which became a key element for the upcoming stage of aesthetics dialectics.
