本幅選自《明人畫扇面》冊，係由摺扇面改裝成蝴蝶裝冊頁。淺設色畫盛夏涼夜，江上輕舟隨風擺蕩。舟中人袒臂露胸，橫笛吹奏，一足探入水中，神態消遙。江面浩渺，波光粼粼，水中映有月影，襯著扇面的洒金箋，倍感醒目耀眼。水波用筆，率意而不失卻法度，人物則精工而不板刻。本幅雖無畫家款印，據風格推定為仇英後期之作。
