高雄港之歷史回顧～竹筏清代人民來往大陸、打狗之間，鄭氏以前，主要是搭乘帆船，鄭氏以後有戎克船及輪船，如搭輪船則於打狗港(高雄港)外海1.5公里入口處下錨，再由竹筏接運。
