十二月月令圖共十二軸，原無年款，學者據活計檔，考知四月景由陳枚繪於乾隆元年(1736)，推測此圖組應是乾隆初年清宮畫院之作。本幅為八月景，描繪眾人於樓閣平台上賞月的情景。建築大略隨遠近比例表現，人物活動細膩穿插其中，觀者如由一高點眺視。畫中樓閣應是參考雍正時期已存在的園林景觀，或許與圓明園有關。
This set of 12 paintings is undated. Scholars have consulted court archives, determining that the 4th lunar month was done by Chen Mei in 1736. It suggests that court painters did this set in the early Qianlong era (1735-1796). The compositions mostly follow a set of entertainment paintings of the Yongzheng Emperor in the 12 lunar months now… 更多
