策展人的話：
畫崇山峻嶺，積雪巖關，運貨驢騾牛車隊伍，冒寒艱辛跋涉於山路。天空與水面均以淡墨烘染，襯托出雪景清曠蕭疏之氣。近景枯柳雜樹挺立，岩面皴筆不多，以示雪意。此畫筆法變化多端，瀟灑勁利，而其牛車、屋宇、棧橋，皆刻劃細膩。
詩題於右上角，前兩句形容畫作主題內容，後兩句形容春雪初溶，行旅之難處。正德二年(1507)唐寅於蘇州府城內北邊築桃花庵，內有「學圃堂、夢墨亭」，此軸畫上即鈐有「學圃堂」閒章。
