本院所藏之珍貴善本，除了清宮舊藏外，尚包括蒐購及接受捐贈，其中，移存之晚清藏書家楊守敬(1839-1915)觀海堂部分藏書，最能呈現漢籍的多元豐富及其流傳於東亞文化圈的特色。
