王翬（西元1632~1717年），常熟人，字石谷，號耕煙散人、烏目山人、劍門樵客。山水得王時敏指授，筆參古今，獨出機杼，為清初四王之一，書畫鑑賞亦佳。
本幅畫古剎梵林掩映間，僧侶閒步，沙際水波上，漁者棹槳其中，增幽境之逸趣。畫者表現千巖萬壑、高峻雄奇之勢，以鬆秀流動的線條皴擦山石肌理，表現華滋靈秀之氣，敷染設色雅淡，為石谷62歲佳作。
This work depicts a Buddhist temple tucked among trees as monks leisurely make their way. By the water banks is a fisherman paddling, adding rustic ease to the remote scenery. The artist conveyed the idea of myriad lofty peaks with relaxed fluid lines to texture the landscape veins and express lushness and spirit. The coloring is also light and elegant, making this work by Wang Hui from the Chinese age of 62 a masterpiece.
