Although this scroll is in semi-cursive script, each of the characters is independent. The forms of such characters as "jue 絕," "liang 涼," and "qian 前" are wide with areas of void evenly spaced and slightly more rounded strokes that reveal the influence of Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322).
