The Mazu patrol and pilgrimage (Māzǔ rǎojìng/媽祖繞境) is the largest religious event in Taiwan recognized by UNESCO and the Discovery Channel. "Mazu March Madness" (Sān yuè fēng Māzǔ/三月瘋媽祖) is a useful idiom for you to learn as it is one of the most important events you will find in Taiwan every year.
