本院與全球策略投資基金共同主辦「臺灣青年陶藝獎／雙年展」，藉由每兩年一次的競賽及展覽，鼓勵青年陶藝創作者發揮創意，並讓國人與來自世界各地的參觀民眾，認識臺灣新生代陶藝家的創作能量和實力。本屆展覽主軸以「萌•火•無限」為發想概念，將「陶」最初的樣貌及陶土的力量，透過青年陶人獨特的「創造」，使觀者能再次聚焦，將現代的多元文化和生命歷程，透過陶土、火的焠煉轉化穿透，隨著溫域流動的變化，創造出屬於創作者自己的生命語彙，間接形塑著屬於這個時代的符號。
2nd Taiwan Young Pottery Artist Award and Biennale
The Museum collaborates with Global Strategic Investment Fund to hold the Taiwan Young Pottery Artist Award and Biennale, in an effort to promote ceramic art among young people and introduce the world to the new generation of Taiwanese ceramic artists. The biennale this year is themed “Growth, Passion, Infinity.” Young artists of the new generation infuses their diverse experiences into their pottery works—through the molding and firing process— turning a simple slump of pottery clay into works of art that express the contemporary outlook.
