這件鈞窯盆托底部有三個雲頭足，盆口周圍裝飾著鼓釘，器內釉色灰藍乳濁，外壁深紫色釉，釉中帶有藍點。盆托器底無孔，可以隔離盆與地面的直接接觸，一方面保護植物根部不受蟲害，另一功能是可蓄水保濕，因此也可單獨作為盆景器使用，種植水性的植物，或於盆中盛水養石。例如右下圖桌上那件有鼓釘的盆托（出自清 黃應諶(活躍於十七世紀) 畫〈陋室銘〉）。
