Like Will Smith said, he’s defending his family. His action is not ideal or condoned, but understood. It is not a joke to have the one you love struggling with a disease and have someone capitalized on that as a joke, and did so in such a public event. Don’t do to others what you don’t want done to yourself. Simple as that. Million of things are harmless to joke about that are actually “funny”. Chris Rock didn’t need to be cruel, selfish and heartless. Some things, people and situations are just NOT funny to make jokes of 🙄 |
